Arrive at 6:00 PM, Relax at 6:01 PM
Have you ever arrived at a beautiful spot only to spend 45 minutes wrestling with poles and confusing instructions? The RapidRise replaces this "setup tax" with a pre-attached frame that goes from out of the bag to fully set up in under a minute. It eliminates the struggle so you can start relaxing the moment you pull up
Clever Gear, No Sweat
Reclaim your time (and your sanity). Instead of sweating over gear, you’re sitting back with a cold one while everyone else is still untangling their tents. It’s the ultimate way to get straight to the headspace of the great outdoors
Aussie-Proofed, Problem: Solved
Combining lightning-fast speed with rugged, storm-proof durability, we’ve built the premier choice for the modern Aussie camper. It bridges the gap between flimsy pop-ups and overpriced retail giants. This is quite simply the number one solution for getting to the good part of camping, faster

Set up in under a minute, from out of the bag to fully pitched and pegged The RoamStead Edge: From the moment it leaves the bag, you’re less than a minute away from a fully pitched and pegged campsite. Our integrated RapidRise frame does the heavy lifting for you, so you can spend your afternoon by the fire instead of deciphering a manual.
The Competition: Traditional tents turn every arrival into a high-stakes puzzle. Between hunting for the right poles and threading them through snagging fabric, you’re looking at a 30-minute (at least) ordeal that usually ends with an argument and a sore back.

Waterproof rain fly built in, weather protection, no multi-step setup The RoamStead Edge: Weather protection shouldn't be an "extra" step. Our waterproof rain fly is built directly into the design, meaning you’re storm-ready the second the tent is up. No fumbling with extra tarps in the wind, just instant, reliable shelter.
The Competition: Most brands treat rain protection as a separate, multi-step process. You’re forced to wrestle with a loose fly sheet that never quite lines up, usually while the first drops of a storm are already starting to fall. If they even come with a fly at all!

Heavy duty 210D Oxford fabric, hard wearing, waterproof, protective The RoamStead Edge: We use hard-wearing 210D Oxford fabric because the Australian bush doesn't do "gentle." It’s a thick, waterproof, and protective barrier that feels as rugged as it looks, designed to survive years of real-world use.
The Competition: To save on costs, big-box brands often use paper-thin polyester that feels like a shower curtain. These fabrics are prone to tearing, degrade quickly under the Aussie sun, and offer very little confidence when the wind picks up.

Double layer doors for privacy, ventilation, & bug protection The RoamStead Edge: Why choose between a breeze and a bug-free night? Our double-layer doors give you total control: zip the mesh for bug-proof ventilation, or seal the solid layer for absolute privacy and warmth. It’s versatility without the compromise.
The Competition: You’re often stuck with a single, flimsy door that forces a choice: suffer through a stuffy tent for the sake of privacy, or open it up and invite every mosquito in the country to dinner.

All seams taped for durability & weather protection The RoamStead Edge: A waterproof fabric is only as good as its weakest link. We heat-tape every single seam to ensure moisture stays on the outside. It’s a premium finishing touch that guarantees a bone-dry interior, even in a coastal downpour.
The Competition: Many standard tents rely on basic stitching that acts like a wick for water. Without proper heat-taping, those "waterproof" claims disappear the moment the rain gets heavy, leaving you with a slow drip onto your sleeping bag.

Have questions?
How does it actually work?
The RapidRise frame comes pre-attached to the tent body. Just unfold the legs, and lift the RapidRise crown until it clicks. That's it!
To pack away, lift the lower section of the RapidRise crown, and lower the tent to the ground. Pull each leg out of the middle join, and then fold them up against the frame. Just a quick roll up and then back into the bag. Done!
Is it durable enough for "Real Aussie" conditions?
Absolutely. We’ve used a heavy-duty waterproof and tear resistance 210D Oxford fabric, and fully taped seams. It’s built to stay stable and bone-dry, whether you’re facing a tropical downpour or dusty coastal winds
How many people can it actually fit?
It’s a true 3-person tent (206cm x 180cm interior floor). It comfortably fits a couple with extra gear, or 3 people (or even 4, provided that 2 of them are small) if you’re happy to be a bit cozy.
Many "retail" brands call these dimensions a 4 person tent, but we have tested with real people and we think that's a bit of a stretch.
A standard queen-size mattress is 153cm wide x 203cm long, which would comfortably fit in the tent (but we don’t recommend bringing a full queen mattress camping with you. Unless you want to? We don’t make the rules)
Is the fly included, or do I buy it separately?
The waterproof rainfly is not only included, it's already attached! It’s designed to be part of the RapidRise setup, to make it as easy as possible to get set up, even if you arrive at camp in the rain.
If you do need to, the rainfly can be detached, there are hooks and loops that join the tent and fly together. Only do this if you want to use the rainfly by itself as a shade - the RapidRise frame goes through the rainfly, and the tent hangs off it, so you can't set up the main tent without the rainfly
What the fly is a "fly"?
Think of the fly as your tent’s raincoat. It’s a completely waterproof layer that sits over the tent to keep you bone-dry and helps prevent that annoying morning condensation inside the tent.
Most tents make you pitch the tent first, then struggle with the fly afterward, basically putting a tent on top of a tent (no thanks!) With the RapidRise, the fly is already attached. It’s one less step between you and the campfire.
Can one person set it up alone?
Yes! That was the goal with the RapidRise tent. The frame is lightweight and balanced so one person can have it fully set up in under a minute without needing a second pair of hands.
We have tested setting this up in all sorts of crazy weather - wind, rain, sun, dead of night. The point was to make something so simple and fast that you wouldn't even need to think about it.
Does it come with pegs and ropes?
Everything you need is in the bag: the tent, the fly (pre attached), 8 x pegs, and 4 x guy ropes for extra stability in high winds.
In most cases you just need to peg the 4 corners of the tent into the ground, the RapidRise frame will handle the rest. If it is getting REALLY windy, the guy ropes can help you stop the tent from whipping around.
How does the ventilation go in summer?
We’ve used double layer doors on both sides of the tent - 1 x bug screen, and 1 x solid door. Open the doors, but keep the bug screens closed, you get maximum cross-breeze to keep things cool, but the mozzies stay out.
