Will I feel the ground through the bed?
Not a chance. At 10cm thick fully inflated, it's designed to support your pressure points (hips and shoulders) so you don't bottom out, even if you’re a side sleeper
Do I need a pump to inflate this?
While we do have a USB-C pump - the AeroDrive, you don't need one to pump up the ComfortCore mattress. It has a build in foot pump that's easy to use and will have the mattress ready to go in a minute or two. Just open the plug, and stomp on the pump.
(If this sounds like too much hassle, the AeroDrive will fully inflate the ComfortCore in under a minute, and has enough juice in a single charge to pump up 10 ComfortCore mattresses)
I’m a big guy, will I be able to sleep on this?
We have deliberately made everything oversize, to provide as much comfort as possible. Fully inflated, the ComfortCore is 2m long and 70cm wide, with a generous 10 thickness.
(If you’re taller than 2m, then camping is going to involve a certain level of discomfort that even we can’t really do much about, sorry)
How do I let it down or get it back in the bag?
Open the valves, wait a minute. To get it neatly back into the bag, we suggest folding both sides into the middle, then rolling up from the foot end first. This helps push the last of the air out as you go. Close the valves to keep the air out, and it slides right into the oversized carry bag.
(If you have the AeroDrive pump, this can help you extract all the air even faster, but it’s not required)
Is the top fabric noisy when I move?
We think mattresses shouldn’t sound like you’re sleeping on chip packets, no matter how comfy they are (and we still think comfort comes first, don’t worry). We have specifically chosen tough, durable materials that don’t crackle and pop all night.
What is that green layer in the middle in that picture?
That’s a thermal layer! It’s a barrier between you and the ground so that even if the ground is really cold, all your body heat won’t get drawn out through the bed, but will instead bounce back and keep you extra warm.
How do I clean it?
The ComfortCore is waterproof! Just give it a wipe or a rinse and then lay it flat or hang it up to dry. Just keep it out of the sun if you do this, the Aussie sun is pretty harsh and will cause damage to the ComfortCore.
Can I join several together?
Yes. There a pop clips down each side, so you can chain as many together as you would like, whether this is for a double bed, a triple, or a mega-mattress. Clip 100 together if you want to, we won’t judge. (That sounds awesome actually)
